What it does
Muse is a personal AI agent from Meta. You give it a goal or a task in chat, in the Muse app on mobile or Mac, or in WhatsApp, and it works on it, from sorting email and booking reservations to shopping and longer-term goals. Each user gets Muse Secure VM, a persistent, isolated Linux computer in the cloud with a full browser that you and the agent share, so you can step in at any point. You connect apps such as email, calendar, and Instagram and decide what it can see and do. The page says that if a task needs a tool that does not exist, the agent builds one.
Where it fits
Sign in, connect only the apps one task needs, and give Muse a clear goal. Read the plan, approve each email or purchase when it asks, and check the audit trail afterward. Open the shared browser if you want to take over.
Before you commit
You need an account, and the homepage opens on a sign-in form. Meta says emails and purchases wait for your approval, saved logins go to a credential store Muse cannot see, checkout uses a one-time card number, and conversations are not shared with Meta's ad systems. The page does not state a price. The preview is an official product image from the Muse homepage, not a live page capture. This check did not sign in.
