What it does

Rill is a free Mac browser in beta. Your Claude Code or Codex agent works in the background while you keep browsing, and the page says it uses the plan you already pay for. It requires macOS 14 or later on Apple silicon. There is no separate AI bill from Rill.

Where it fits

Download the beta, open a page, and send one task with the shortcut. Keep browsing until it asks you.

Pricing & free tier

Rill's download is free. The page says it runs on the Claude Code or Codex plan you already have, with no separate AI bill from Rill.

Free beta. You still need a Claude Code or Codex plan for the agent.

Formats. A Mac app. macOS 14 or later, Apple silicon.

Getting started

  1. 1Download the beta on a supported Mac.
  2. 2Send one small task and read the result.
  3. 3Do not confirm a payment you did not intend.

Limits & gotchas

  • Free does not include the coding plan.
  • Beta, Apple silicon only in the text we read.
  • The agent can continue in a tab while you scroll.

Before you commit

It can act in a tab, including up to payment if you say so. Stop before a purchase you did not mean.
