Fish Audio

What it does

Fish Audio is a text-to-speech and voice-cloning product. Drama 3, posted on 13 October 2026, takes direction in the script: emotion, a pause, a breath, or a whisper, including on part of a line. The company says it is in Text to Speech on fish.audio, in the Fish Audio iOS and Android apps, and on the existing TTS API when the model header is drama-3. Weights are on Hugging Face under the Fish Audio Community License, which allows research and non-commercial use and commercial use only under the revenue limit the license states. Offering Drama 3 as a hosted voice service needs a separate license. Interactive editing and audio inpainting were described as invite-only.

Open Text to Speech, pick a voice, and write the line with the performance you want in brackets. Generate a take, listen for the directed moment, and change the direction that missed. Check the license before you ship the audio or host the weights.

The community license limits commercial use of the weights, and cloning a real voice still needs that person's consent. A launch post listed a temporary API discount through 12 November 2026, so read the live pricing page before you budget.
